
Rachel Gitner, Soprano
Soprano Rachel Gitner is quickly becoming a sought-after interpreter of dramatic music. She developed a “unique and pleasing sound” through her studies at the Peabody Institute at the Johns Hopkins University and the University of Oregon. Recent engagements include a solo recital at Weill Concert Hall at Carnegie Hall as part of La Gesse Foundation Festival. She recently performed at the Vancouver Early Music Festival has sung for the Boston Ballet’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream. She performed in the chorus of Harvard Early Music Festival’s Bacchus et Erigone and will play the role of Diana in HEMF’s La Calisto in December.
